Objectives

The objective of the FTMS 2022 school is to accelerate the dissemination of Fourier transform mass spectrometry to a community of users but also to future users. This school will make it possible to offer courses ranging from basic concepts to the most advanced research results in various fields such as the environment, art, biology, human sciences.

The proposed training will promote interdisciplinarity, by managing to converge towards a mutual understanding the actors of each of the disciplines such as chemistry, biology, physics or the human sciences.

The 2020 FTMS school will alternate between courses, practical work and transfers of knowledge and knowledge. This school will allow participants to better process FT data, to have notions of software allowing data analysis and to know how and with what to visualize the data.

- to promote high resolution mass spectrometry using the Fourier transform (FT-MS), of the FT-ICR or Orbitrap type.

- to provide teaching of a technical and theoretical nature on the principle of these devices.

- to bring application communities closer together, in order to share their specific developments between them.
